November is Stewardship month and you are being asked to make a commitment to St. Paul Lutheran Church. This weekend please bring your pledge card, previously mailed to your home, to any of the services with your financial commitment to St. Paul for 2019.
Gifts to the church should not be money alone! There is need for you to give some time, become part of a team, help with youth programs, join the quilters or maintenance team members….or take on a project of your own that would help the church.
The Family Service Day originally scheduled for Saturday, April 7th has been postponed until Saturday, April 21st at 8:30am.
Join together with other church families to clean up around the church, preschool, parsonage, and north parking lot. This can be a great family activity to help beautify and maintain the church property (and save the maintenance team some work)
The Chili Cook-off is back!!! The event will be held in Treynor's middle school commons. Free will offerings will help with youth activities and youth center needs. There will be an adult and a youth division (12th grade and under). Contact Denise Wilson if you would like to join in by making a chili!
Meet at the Church at 5:30 to carpool. Cost is $12 to get in and do either the haunted hay rack ride or the haunted house. $22 will allow you to do both the hay rack ride and the haunted house. Bring one can of food and save a dollar. SPY will provide the bonfire, food and drinks.
St. Paul is hosting an evening worship service to mark the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. Music will be provided by Dr. J. Gordon Christensen, organist for St. Paul Lutheran Church in Council Bluffs. Following the service there will be a time of fellowship and a light meal served in the St. Paul Fellowship Hall. Please plan to attend this special service to celebrate the Reformation, grow in faith, and strengthen relationships with other Christians.
